Windshield Repair/Replace

Windshield repair and replacement service contracts, provided through Auto Trac System, provides for the repair or full replacement of the windshield and pays the benefit of the amount shown on the contract.
The vehicles can be treated with a liquid based protective coating designed to reduce cracking and chipping.  If the windshield is damaged, the warranty will repair or replace the windshield. Windshield replacements are of OEM or like kind quality glass.
While not renewable, windshield service contract is transferable, and is available on standard and luxury vehicles.
Provided through Auto Trac System and insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, coverage is available on all retail finance contracts, including both new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships.

VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACTS

Vehicle Service contracts cover mechanical breakdowns for various levels of coverage from engine and transmission repair to common seals and gaskets protecting  consumers from costly repairs.
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, contracts are eligible on all new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles.  Claims are usually handled by the selling dealer, which may increase repeat traffic from customers
Vehicle service contracts  are fully  transferable making the vehicle more desirable to the next owner.
Provided through Auto Trac System and insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, coverage is available on all retail finance contracts, including both new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships.

Anti-Theft Warranty

Anti-theft warranties provided through the Auto Trac System pay the benefit of $2500 or $5000 of the amount shown on the limited warranty for up to five years after purchase (if the vehicle is stolen and not recovered within thirty days).
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, anti-theft warranties are eligible on all retail finance contracts for new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles. Vehicles are tracked through DNA trace system body panel labels, window coding labels, and/or unique acid-etched glass codes.
While not renewable, the anti-theft warranty is transferable, and is available with two benefit options: $2,500 and $5,000. The program is available on a direct or reinsured basis to the dealership.

Tire & Wheel Protection

Tire & Wheel protection covers both tires and rims for a period of time not exceeding 5 years at various coverages. The program is limited to the repair or replacement of tires and/or wheels damaged as a result of a road hazard.
Claims are usually handled by the selling dealer increasing repeat traffic from customers. While not renewable, the contract is transferable, and is available on most makes and models.
There are five classifications of vehicles and rates based on the length of coverage. The program is available on a direct or reinsured basis to the dealership.
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company,  tire & wheel protection is eligible on all new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles.

Road Hazard

A Road hazard warranty covers only the tires included on the vehicle. Purchased from the original selling dealer (“eligible tires”). This road hazard program is limited to the repair or replacement of tires - damaged as a result of a road hazard.
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, road hazard service contracts are eligible on all new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles.  Claims are usually handled by the selling dealer, which may increase repeat traffic from customers.
While not renewable, most road hazard contracts are transferable for a fee, and are available with on most makes and models.

Appearance Protection

Our Auto Trac System interior and exterior protection warranty protects your vehicle’s paint, fabric and carpet from physical damage, fading, loss of gloss, and permanent staining.
While not renewable, it is transferable. The program is available on a direct or reinsured basis to the dealership.  Auto Trac System can supply the chemicals at the dealer's direction.
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, warranties are eligible on all retail finance contracts for new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles. We can supply the chemicals at the dealer's direction.

Key Replacement

A key replacement contract covers the replacement of a vehicle’s keys. This includes the key/remote and any applicable programming as well as other non-programmable keys. Coverage is available for up to 5 years with various aggregate limits of coverage.
This program exists on a reimbursement basis for the purpose of replacing keys and/or remote(s) as needed. This contract is sold through dealerships and utilizes a tracking system offered as a product warranty which uses GPS technology to locate the keys.
Claims are usually handled by the selling dealer, which may increase repeat traffic from customers. While not renewable, the warranty contract is transferable and is available on most makes and models.
Insured by AM Best’s rated A- (or better) insurance company, contracts are eligible on all new and used vehicles for franchised and non-franchised dealerships, including leased vehicles.

GAP

Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) coverage pays the difference between the outstanding loan balance and the amount that the primary insurer pays in the event of a total loss.
Protection is available for up to 150 percent of the original value of the vehicle, with a single maximum vehicle value limit of $125,000 and a maximum limit of liability of $50,000. There is no minimum financing price and loan terms are available up to 96 months.
The program is available on a direct or reinsured basis to the dealership.

GAP – REINSURANCE

GAP - Reinsurance is relatively identical to GAP coverage with the only difference being that the producer (dealer) takes the risk through an off-shore reinsurance company.  The insurer would either cede premium directly to the dealer captive (very large producer) or cede to Auto Trac System’s captive and the profits would be retro-ceded into the dealer’s captive.
Most dealerships reinsure their VSC programs and have become comfortable with this set-up. Reinsuring GAP allows us to compete with all other GAP underwriters.
Reinsurance GAP changes the dynamic for all parties by moving the dealership into a partnership with the underwriter.  It keeps our relationships in place for longer periods of time.
